Santa Visit!

Kylie didn't get to see santa this year, well with exception to the Walmart one. So we decided to have him come to the house and surprise her! She loved it! When Santa asked her what she wanted for Christmas the first thing out of her mouth was that she wanted a honey bear. (she had been reading the Berenstein Bears book) Then she decided to tell Santa that she wanted a baby brother. I said "no way kylie, not right now! better ask for something else." These are a few pics from the santa visit.

Oh yeah...just a little piece of what's to come...Cory and I have decided that as long as God wills it we are for sure going to be adopting our next child!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kylie's Party

Cory's awesome cake!

Well it's been like two weeks since I first posted! Man I gotta get this in gear! But I just wanted to share a few pictures of Kylie's 2nd Birthday party with everyone.
First of all, I can't believe my baby is TWO!!!!!!!!!!! She has grown up so fast. She still continues to amaze and surprise us daily! She is the greatest thing ever. Cory and I are so lucky to have her as our daughter. We love her more than she will ever know. Of course along with the 2nd birthday is coming some of those things we all hear about. She is starting to REALLY push her limits, repeating ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, and becoming so independent. Even though she is going through those things I love every single minute of it! She is the most hilarious little girl, and keeps me smiling all the time. I thank God every day for the blessing of being her mother and getting to spend time with such an awesome little person!
We had a small party this year, just family and a few good friends. I am so thankful for my mom and dad letting me use their building and helping out! It makes it so much less stressful.
Kylie had a great time and got lots of fun things. She enjoyed the attention for sure! She kept going around saying "tylie two yurs old" which of course translates into "Kylie two years old". We had to do the party in Yo Gabba Gabba, which is her favorite show right now. I painted some pumpkins to look like the characters and Cory decorated most of her cake. In case you aren't familiar with the show, the cake is DJ Lance's boom box, and Cory did great! It looks just like it.
When we got home from the party Kylie was passed out. She didn't sleep well throughout the night though, I think it was all that sugar! Thanks again to everyone who came and to mom, dad, Cory, Nana, and Tara for helping with everything!

Kylie's Two year pics

Well I know this is my first post and it should be something wonderful...but I am headed to bed. I just wanted to share a few of Kylie's two year pictures that she got taken last week. My mother had decided to take her and surprise me. Well she ended up telling me the day before so that I could get her outfits ready. I had to work and couldn't get off because of the late notice.
At lunch my friend Tara came and got me from work and we went to Cracker Barrel, mom had called and said she would meet us there to eat. Well long story short; the reason mom was meeting us there is to tell me Kylie had fallen while getting her pictures taken and busted open her chin! We ended up not eating because we had to take Kylie to the emergency room! I was hoping she would make it until she was two before we had to go to the ER, but it was close enough I guess. It ended up not that bad, they just pulled it together and put some steri-strips on it. She is doing much better now!

Although she had a very eventful time with the pictures, they turned out great! Nikki did an awesome job as usual! Check her out at http://www.wolfephotography.net/
